Some companies charge for diagnosis - up to £100+. They are then able to quote ridiculous prices for the repair because the diagnosis fee is already secured. A few of our customers sent their machines to manufacturers, paid a £100+ diagnosis fee and were quoted £600+ for the repair. They declined and came to us for a much more cost effective repair.

Other companies expect you to pay hourly rates. This is flawed logic as a good engineer takes less time to complete a repair than a bad one. It means you pay extra for their incompetence. Memory Test Error. Extend SDRAM is failure or system hangs up. If your system installed with expansion SO-DIMM module then check them for proper installation. Make sure that your SO-DIMM sockets are OK. Try other known good SO-DIMM modules. Your system host bus clock running at 266MHZ then make sure that SO-DIMM module meet require of PC 266. A lot of Dell systems are being sent to us for software problems caused by Viruses. It is essential to protect your Dell laptops using the latest versions of anti-virus software and update the pattern files at least once a week. Most Aberdeen anti-virus systems will automatically check if updated pattern files are available - always elect to get the updated files when asked. Most Aberdeen viruses will attempt to modify the system registry - use registry protection to prevent unwanted modifications.
