Minor scratches and cracks on the body are not worth repairing. Most customer approach us for cosmetics repairs when they are about to sell the laptop - it is usually more cost effective to accept a lower price for the damaged laptop than to get it repaired and sell it. If pressing the power-on button fails to switch on the Toshiba laptop, it indicates that power is not reaching the Toshiba system. Check that your power adapter is connected correctly and that the mains switch is ON. You may have a broken power pin or damaged power socket

Other companies expect you to pay hourly rates. This is flawed logic as a good engineer takes less time to complete a repair than a bad one. It means you pay extra for their incompetence.
