No Power - When the power button is pressed, nothing happens, power indicator does not light up. Is the notebook connected to power (AC or a charged battery)? Connect AC or battery. Try another known good battery or AC adapter. Power ok? Replace the faulty AC Adapter or Battery. Replace motherboard if still faulty. Audio Failure. No sound from speaker after audio driver is installed. Check if speaker cables are connected properly. Make sure all the drivers are installed properly. Try another known good speaker, CD-ROM. Exchange another known good charger board.

Most LCD/TFT screens are damaged by impact. Dropping laptop or stepping on them causes the glass in the screens to crack. One customer reported that his cat tried to attack the fish on his wallpaper and cracked the screen.
