If the battery status indicator does not light up, remove the battery pack and let it return to room temperature. Re-install the battery pack. If the charge indicator still does not light up, replace the battery pack. If the charge indicator still does not light up, replace the DC/DC charger board. Most LCD/TFT screens are damaged by impact. Dropping laptop or stepping on them causes the glass in the screens to crack. One customer reported that his cat tried to attack the fish on his wallpaper and cracked the screen. Shutting the Chiswick lid of the laptop with a pen on the keyboard will also destroy your screen.
