No Fix - No Fee is the best way.
Some companies charge for diagnosis - up to £100+. They are then able to quote ridiculous prices for the repair because the diagnosis fee is already secured. A few of our customers sent their machines to manufacturers, paid a £100+ diagnosis fee and were quoted £600+ for the repair. They declined and came to us for a much more cost effective repair.

Other companies expect you to pay hourly rates. This is flawed logic as a good engineer takes less time to complete a repair than a bad one. It means you pay extra for their incompetence. One minute over the hour and you pay for and extra hour, why?? Worse still, they expect you to pay even when they don't fix your laptop.

No power. Connect AC adaptor or battery. Replace the faulty AC adaptor or Battery. Try another known good charger BD. No Power When the power button is pressed, nothing happens, no fan activity is heard and power indicator is not light up. Power sockets are usually damaged by carrying or moving your Qosmio laptop with the mains adapter plugged in. It only takes a second to disconnect the adapter and avoid an expensive repair. A lot of Denham users put their laptops in a carry case with the AC adapter plugged in. Sometimes the cable get snagged and damage the socket. We can Denham replace or repair the sockets on most laptops. Although the parts are cheap, the process involves removing the Samsung motherboard from the laptop. Disconnect the power adapter and install the charged battery pack; then check that power is supplied by the battery pack. If you suspect a power problem.
