No Fix - No Fee is the best way.
Some companies charge for diagnosis - up to £100+. They are then able to quote ridiculous prices for the repair because the diagnosis fee is already secured. A few of our customers sent their machines to manufacturers, paid a £100+ diagnosis fee and were quoted £600+ for the repair. They declined and came to us for a much more cost effective repair.

Other companies expect you to pay hourly rates. This is flawed logic as a good engineer takes less time to complete a repair than a bad one. It means you pay extra for their incompetence. Power on the computer using each of the following power sources: Remove the battery pack.Connect the power adapter and check that power is supplied. Disconnect the power adapter and install the charged battery pack; then check that power is supplied by the battery pack. If you suspect a power problem. If pressing the power-on button fails to switch on the Dell laptop, it indicates that power is not reaching the Dell system. Check that your power adapter is connected correctly and that the mains switch is ON. You may have a broken power pin or damaged power socket

External Monitor No Display. There is no display or picture abnormal on CRT monitor, but it is OK for LCD. Confirm monitor is good and check the cable are connected properly. Remove all the I/O device & cable from motherboard except monitor and try again. The BIOS will also give you information about your Tiny system such as type of CPU, Size of hard drive and the amount of RAM present
