Most Toshiba laptops work with a screen resolution of 1024x768. A few machines use higher Dell UXGA resolutions. Please let us know what type of LCD screen is installed in your machines prior to placing an order. Other screen resolutions: VGA 640x480, SVGA 800x600, XGA 1024x768, SXGA 1280x1024, Super XGA+ 1400x1050 and Ultra XGA 1600x1200. If the touchpad doesn’t work, do the following actions one at a time to correct the problem. After rebooting, run Tracking Pad PS2 Mode Driver. For example, run Syn touch driver. Run utility with the PS/2 mouse function and check if the mouse is working.

No Power - When the power button is pressed, nothing happens, power indicator does not light up. Is the notebook connected to power (AC or a charged battery)? Connect AC or battery. Try another known good battery or AC adapter. Power ok? Replace the faulty AC Adapter or Battery. Replace motherboard if still faulty. It is vital that you test your Dell CD/DVD drive using a factory manufactered disk. CD-Rs and CD-RWs might give you the impression that the Tiny drive is faulty when they are not recorded properly, incompatible or faulty.
