No Power - When the power button is pressed, nothing happens, power indicator does not light up. Is the notebook connected to power (AC or a charged battery)? Connect AC or battery. Try another known good battery or AC adapter. Power ok? Replace the faulty AC Adapter or Battery. Replace motherboard if still faulty. There a small thin florescent tube at the bottom of the Samsung TFT screen. This provides the lighting for the Samsung screen. When the tube developes a fault the screen may give a pink or red hue to the image. We replace the tubes with high performance ultra white tubes which give a better image
