Some companies charge for diagnosis - up to £100+. They are then able to quote ridiculous prices for the repair because the diagnosis fee is already secured. Faulty touch pads results in erratic Time mouse movements. Faults are usually caused by spills, dirt and wear. Slough Clicker buttons can also become faulty. We can replace or repair most faulty touch pads and clicker buttons. Original Slough parts maybe difficult to obtains with certain models. Wiping the Lifebook surface of the pad with a safe cleaning fluid can resolve some touch pad faults. To get the Dell system out of standby mode you need to press and release the power on button.

Power adapters are not worth repairing. Firstly, the safe operation of the unit may be compromised - high voltages and fire risks. We have plenty of new and used power adapters suitable for most systems. The cost of power adapters vary from £29-£90. LAN Test Error. An error occurs when a LAN device is installed. Check if BIOS setup is ok. Board-level Troubleshooting or replace motherboard.
